This web site was created for author and historian Larry Lester. His objective was to have an attractive site with clear simple navigation. He also wanted it to be very easy for his visitors to get the information they are looking for.

To accomplish these goals, we incorporated navigation at the bottom of every page which mirrors the top navigation.  Since Larry's site is very content driven, we also added the ability for users to easily navigate back to the top of any page.  A site map and a search feature are included so any desired page may be found quickly.  Another feature is the site tools section, which allows visitors to generate printer friendly versions of his content pages and to change the text size if necessary for more comfortable viewing.

The content management system for this site has been customized to include the ability to add pages to the site according to page type.  Mr. Lester does not have to enter any special formatting when he creates new pages.  Custom fields and styles ensure that anything he adds will appear as intended on the site.  This allows the overall look and feel of the site to remain consistent.
