This web site was created for author and historian Larry Lester.  His objective was to have an attractive site with clear simple navigation.  He also wanted it to be very easy for his visitors to get the information they are looking for.

To accomplish these goals, we incorporated navigation at the bottom of every page which mirrors the top navigation.  Since Larry's site is very content driven, we also added the ability for users to easily navigate back to the top of any page.  A site map and a search feature are included so any desired page may be found quickly.  Another feature is the site tools section, which allows visitors to generate printer friendly versions of his content pages and to change the text size if necessary for more comfortable viewing.

The content management system for this site has been customized to include the ability to add the types of pages needed.  The content on these pages does not have to be entered with formatting.  Custom fields and styles ensure that the pages will appear as intended on the site.  This ensures that the overall look and feel of the site remains consistent.
